Brownies

Classic dark chocolate brownies.

Yield: 16 brownies.
  1. 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  2. .5c unsalted butter
  3. 1c sugar
  4. 3 large chicken eggs
  5. 1t vanilla extract
  6. .75t salt
  7. .75c flour
  1. Melt butter with chocolate over double-boiler.
  2. Mix in sugar.
  3. Mix in eggs.
  4. Mix in vanilla.
  5. Sift flour with salt, mix into batter.
  6. Fill an 8-inch-square pan, lined with parchment.
  7. Bake at 350F until a toothpick inserted in the middle doesn't come out totally wet, or, roughly half-an-hour.
