Tea Cakes
Crumbly little nutballs. A common variant includes cinnamon, but I find them delightful without.

Yield: plenty
- 1c butter, soft
- 1t vanilla
- 6T confectioner sugar (powdered with starch)
- 2c flour
- 1c walnuts, chopped fine
- Combine, in order.
- Refrigerate 30m to stiffen batter.
- Roll into 1-inch balls, arrange on baking sheet, 1.5-inches apart.
- Bake at 400F for 12m.
- Let cool slightly, roll in additional confectioner sugar, roll again once entirely cool.
